I worked very hard academically in high school, and you should too, as well as played an active part by joining many clubs in my high school. The admissions office is looking for students who can balance academics and extra curricular activities. Take the SATs or ACTs, get all of your required documentation, and write a creative essay. What will make you stand out? A creative essay will definitely show your personality. Don't stay in the box but look outside and challenge your creativity...it will pay off. For example, my essay was a play script. I wrote an essay about the nervousness about being on stage, and put it into a play script.
